Short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to answer you, and we don't sell it, track you or show you ads. The long version is below.
1. Who we are
THE ZOTA CLUB ("we", "us") is a brand and creative studio based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information on thezotaclub.com (the "site"). If you have any question, write to adrian@thezotaclub.com.
2. What we collect
What you send us. When you use the "Tell me what you see" form we receive your name, your email, and anything you choose to add: your brand, the area you're interested in and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
Things saved in your own browser. The site remembers your language (English or Spanish) in your browser's local storage, and whether you've already seen the opening animation during this visit (session storage). This stays on your device, we can't read it, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
What we don't do. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels or social media plugins. Fonts and images are served from our own site.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you and talk about your project.
- To prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to carry out the project.
- To keep the site secure and protect it from spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, we don't share it for targeted advertising, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (answering your inquiry), our legitimate interest in running and securing the site, and compliance with the law.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that help us run the studio, and only as much as they need:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the site and receives the messages sent through the form.
- Our email provider, which stores our email conversations.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your messages as long as we need them to answer you. If we end up working together, we keep project records for as long as the project lasts and as required for tax and legal purposes. Inquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 24 months.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, to get a copy of it, or to stop using it. Just email adrian@thezotaclub.com. We'll answer within 45 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live (for example California, Minnesota, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the studio has access to the messages you send. No system is 100% secure, so please don't send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information through the form.
8. Children
The site isn't directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we'll delete it.
9. Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as Instagram, Behance and the news articles we mention. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for how they handle your information.
10. Where your information is processed
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By contacting us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed there.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.

1. Quiénes somos
THE ZOTA CLUB ("nosotros") es un estudio de marca y creatividad con sede en Minneapolis, Minnesota, Estados Unidos. Esta política explica cómo tratamos la información personal en thezotaclub.com (el "sitio"). Si tienes alguna pregunta, escríbenos a adrian@thezotaclub.com.
2. Qué información recibimos
Lo que tú nos envías. Cuando usas el formulario "Cuéntame qué ves" recibimos tu nombre, tu correo y lo que decidas agregar: tu marca, el área que te interesa y tu mensaje. Si nos escribes directamente por correo, recibimos tu dirección y lo que nos escribas.
Datos técnicos básicos. Como cualquier sitio web, nuestro proveedor de hosting registra automáticamente información técnica cuando lo visitas, como tu dirección IP, el tipo de navegador, las páginas que pides y la fecha y hora. Se usa para mantener el sitio funcionando y seguro.
Lo que se guarda en tu propio navegador. El sitio recuerda tu idioma (inglés o español) en el almacenamiento local de tu navegador, y si ya viste la animación de entrada durante esta visita (almacenamiento de sesión). Eso se queda en tu dispositivo, nosotros no podemos leerlo y puedes borrarlo cuando quieras desde la configuración de tu navegador.
Lo que no hacemos. No usamos cookies de publicidad ni de rastreo, herramientas de analítica, píxeles de seguimiento ni plugins de redes sociales. Las tipografías y las imágenes se cargan desde nuestro propio sitio.
3. Para qué la usamos
- Para responderte y hablar de tu proyecto.
- Para preparar una propuesta y, si trabajamos juntos, para llevar a cabo el proyecto.
- Para mantener el sitio seguro y protegerlo del spam y del abuso.
- Para cumplir con obligaciones legales.
No vendemos tu información personal, no la compartimos para publicidad dirigida y no te agregamos a ninguna lista de correos.
Si estás en el Espacio Económico Europeo o en el Reino Unido, nos basamos en estas bases legales: tomar medidas a tu pedido antes de firmar un contrato (responder tu consulta), nuestro interés legítimo en mantener el sitio funcionando y seguro, y el cumplimiento de la ley.
4. Con quién la compartimos
Solo con los proveedores que nos ayudan a operar el estudio, y solo lo que necesitan:
- Netlify, Inc. aloja el sitio y recibe los mensajes enviados por el formulario.
- Nuestro proveedor de correo, que guarda nuestras conversaciones por email.
También podemos revelar información si la ley lo exige, o para proteger nuestros derechos o la seguridad de otras personas.
5. Cuánto tiempo la guardamos
Guardamos tus mensajes mientras los necesitemos para responderte. Si terminamos trabajando juntos, guardamos los registros del proyecto mientras dure y durante el tiempo que exijan las obligaciones fiscales y legales. Las consultas que no se convierten en proyecto se borran en un plazo de 24 meses.
6. Tus opciones y derechos
Puedes pedirnos en cualquier momento acceder, corregir o borrar la información personal que tenemos sobre ti, recibir una copia o que dejemos de usarla. Solo escribe a adrian@thezotaclub.com. Te responderemos en un máximo de 45 días y no te trataremos distinto por pedirlo. Según dónde vivas (por ejemplo California, Minnesota, la Unión Europea o el Reino Unido), puedes tener derechos adicionales, incluido el de presentar una queja ante la autoridad de protección de datos de tu país.
7. Seguridad
El sitio solo funciona con conexión cifrada (HTTPS) y solo el estudio tiene acceso a los mensajes que envías. Ningún sistema es 100% seguro, así que no envíes contraseñas, datos de pago ni otra información sensible por el formulario.
8. Menores de edad
El sitio no está dirigido a menores de 13 años y no recopilamos su información a sabiendas. Si crees que un menor nos envió información personal, escríbenos y la borraremos.
9. Enlaces a otros sitios
El sitio tiene enlaces a otras páginas, como Instagram, Behance y los artículos de noticias que mencionamos. Esas páginas tienen sus propias políticas de privacidad y no somos responsables de cómo tratan tu información.
10. Dónde se procesa tu información
Estamos en Estados Unidos y nuestros proveedores pueden procesar información en Estados Unidos y en otros países. Si nos contactas desde fuera de Estados Unidos, entiendes que tu información se procesará allí.
11. Cambios
Si cambiamos esta política, la actualizaremos en esta página y cambiaremos la fecha de arriba.
